Stampin' Up! - Number of Years for Rosie!

Hello, I'm sharing a very special card with you today - it is the one I made to celebrate my daughter Rosie's birthday today!  We have a fun packed day planned for Rosie - there will be cake involved!  I can't believe she is 22 already!  Where have all the years gone?

I made her a card in this particular style last year (you can see it HERE) and she absolutely loved it!  I had so many lovely comments about the card and lots of requests to show how it was made so I did a tutorial which you can find HERE

I decided to use these colours to match my choice of the Birthday Bouquet DSP I wanted to use.  Stampin' Up!make it really easy to colour match as they list the colours on DSP collections on the back of the pack!

This is really the first time I have used the Number of Years stamp set and I have to say I love how it turned out!  I really like the texture and the highlights on the flowers when you stamp them, they look like they have been painted! (You can see this effect better on the last photo).

I know that the Framelits I used to diecut the numbers are going to be so useful - buy them as a bundle whilst you still can with a 15% saving until the 31st May.

Here is a view from above so that you can see the different layers:

My favourite part of this card is the reverse - I love the vertical sentiment on the balloon string!

Once I had decided which colours to use this card came together really quickly.  If you haven't made a card like this before, please don't think it is complicated - it really isn't and, hopefully you will find my earlier tutorial easy to follow!
