Stampin' Up! Vintage Leaves (version 1)
Hello, as promised I have remembered to post further details of one of the cards we will be making this week at Coffee & Cards. Given that I have been awake since 2am this morning I am quite impressed with myself!
The colours we are using this week just seemed to shout out Autumn to me!
In with my last delivery was a TIEF called Petal Burst. When I looked at it, I saw leaves - hence my using it as a background for this particular card!
After embossing the cardstock, I used a Spnge Dauber and Old Olive ink to add some colour and texture to the debossed side.
Here is the completed card:
I hope you can just about see that I used some Sale-A-Bration sparkly gold washi tape underneath the sentiment but you could use Gold Glimmer Paper instead. The little wooden leaf has been coloured with Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie ink applied with a Sponge Dauber. Although they have sadly been discontinued they are currently available on Clearance Rack for £2.40 per pack (previously £6)!!
I have really enjoyed using this folder and I will share details later this week of the other techniques I used to create this weeks cards!
