Stampin' Up! Floral Phrases - quick and simple

Hello,  here are the details for the first Coffee & Cards project this week using Floral Phrases.  Its a simple card that is very quick to make and as with last weeks projects, it would make a lovely set in a box as a gift.

We used the smaller Thinlet to cut a decorative panel into our card and wrapped some Whisper White Bakers Twine around the bottom.

We adhered the panel to the notecard using some of the foam strips which can be found on page 203 of the new catalogue.

I remember (many years ago), painstakingly cutting foam tape into smaller strips to make shaker cards - these fabulous strips are perfect and are a pleasure to use, they are a great way to add some dimension to your projects.

We used some of the gorgeous new Glitter Enamel Dots to highlight the sentiment and the centre of one of the flowers (they look much sparklier in real life).

Here is the completed card and envelope.

Now this card is pretty in pink ... but how about an alternative colour, say Dapper Denim?

The addition of some Washi Tape (sadly retired now) and a Stitched Shape Framelit stamped with a sentiment from Eastern Beauty change the look of this card.  The tiny flower underneath the sentiment was salvaged from the die cut waste!

As usual, I can't decide which one I like best!
