Stampin' Up! In The City for JOS#003 - the letter 'C'

Hello, the project I am sharing today is my entry for the Joy of Sets Challenge using the letter 'C'.

Last week one of my fellow team members moved home - obviously I wanted to send her a card.  Now I have many stamp sets (of course), but one I did not have was a set called In The City.

I looked at my other stamps and realised I really NEEDED In The City to make a card for Holly so I had to place a quick order for it.

There are 60 stamps in this set so you can create a tiny home all the way up to a great big city if you want to.  Wouldn't this be a great set for children to experiment with?  Each of the images has an outline stamp and an inner stamp so that you can add colour quickly and easily - brilliant!

It arrived yesterday tea time so I quickly got to work to create a quick and simple card that I could get in the post straight away.

In no time at all I had build up a little scene to depict someone moving house. I am not at all sure that the car looks like it is facing the right way ... ho hum! Just when I was thinking I would have to draw a line across the card front to 'ground' the images I realised that Stampin' Up! had already thought of it - can you see the row of Smoky Slate dots - brilliant!

The inside had a stamped sentiment and a bit of sparkle!  I used the Fine Tip Glue Pen - the fine tip is fantastic when you need tiny dots of glue.

This amazing stamp set is only available for purchase with Stampin' Rewards. If you look at page 219 of the Annual Catalogue you can see all the Hostess Only stamp sets that are available this year.  There will be another in the Autumn / Winter Catalogue that launches on the 1st September too!  If you would like to find out how you can get your hands on this set, why not send me a message and I will help you?
