Stampin' Up! In The City stepped up

Hello, here are the details of the second project for this week.  Everyone who joined me this week commented on the colour scheme I choose - not a combination that you would automatically think of but, it really works doesn't it?

The more you look at this stamp set the more possibilities you see - there are 60 stamps in this set!  I stamped the coloured section of the houses on this card using Berry Burst.  The house on the left uses ink at full strength and the house on the right has been stamped off first to give a lighter colour.  This is a great way to extend your colour collection - with some colours you can use the 3rd and 4th generation of stamping too!

We stamped some extra trees onto scraps of card and cut out the tops.  We used the Mini Dimensionals to give some height.  I still can't decide whether this little car is coming or going ...

Thanks to everyone who joined me for some crafty fun this week - I have really enjoyed seeing all your creations.

Next week we will be using a stamp set called Happiest of Days to create some stunning, clean and simple cards.

As next Monday is a Bank Holiday in the UK there won't a crafty session on Monday - I am giving myself the day off!  I will post details of the projects shortly.

You can find the products I used for this project at the end of this post with details of how you can receive a free gift from me.

I will have a new post tomorrow sharing a very special card I made for a friend with a special birthday with more sneaky peaks of items from the new catalogue!

Thanks for looking at my blog, I would love you to leave a comment below ...

Happy Crafting!
