Stampin' Up! Snowflake Sentiments - quick & simple

Hello,  here are the details for our first project this week using the Snowflake Sentiments bundle.  In a change to the usual format for Coffee & Cards sessions we made a gift box with the Envelope Punch Board (EPB).

This clever little tool allows you to create your own envelopes in up to 66 different sizes.  You can also use it to make boxes, mini crackers and lots of other things too - why not have a look on my Pinterest board to see what you can find?

These little boxes are so useful, really quick to make and they can be decorated to suit too.  The photo below shows a box I made way back in 2015 for my Aunt.

We trimmed a piece of A4 Night of Navy cardstock to 8 1/4" x 8 1/4".  Using the EPB we punched and scored on the first side at 3 1/8" and 4 1/8".

Turning the cardstock 90 degrees we lined the marker with each score line and punched and scored along the grove again.

After assembling our boxes we created a simple 'belly band' to keep it closed.

The two larger snowflakes were 'released' from the border die in the Swirly Snowflakes Thinlets Dies.

Once again, we used the Stitched Shape Framelits and added one of the cute mini tags (again in the Thinlets).  We cut the tag out in Night of Navy and also Whisper White; trimming the white layer and sticking to the inside so that it could be written on.

Here is the finished box - these chocolates fit perfectly and so would an ink pad!  I am sure you can think of lots of things that would also fit in these useful little boxes.  How about a set of four note cards and envelopes as a gift?
