Stampin' Up! Stampin' Blends

Hello, well what can I say about the new Stampin' Blends pens except that I love, love, love them!

I have been an avid Pro Marker and Copic Ciao user for well over a decade and I have to say that I initially had a couple of concerns about the new Stampin' Blends but, after I had chance to have a proper play with them at the weekend I can truly say that they are brilliant.

At first I was a bit worried about how I would create the skin tones on these lovely ladies.  Of course SU have a solution.  Two additional colours that can be used to create custom blend skin tones (Ivory and Bronze).

My other concern was that other brands have pens that will remove tiny mistakes if you accidentally colour outside the lines.  No fear though, SU have a solution - a colour remover pen, phew!

Features of Stampin' Blends
  • Stampin’ Blends come in Stampin’ Up! colours. Because they fit right alongside our other product lines, they give you an opportunity to play with colour in a way that adds to your Stampin’ Up! experience.
  • Add just the right amount of colour just where you need it with the brush tip or fine point.
  • SU have done in house testing for evaporation and also life testing and are happy with the results.  Each marker is sealed with press fit lids that prevent the air from entering the barrel (which would lead to evaporation).
  • They are sold as individual markers and as a combo pack with a light and dark shade.
  • The nestable lids are easy to keep track of and have a tight fit for long lasting colour.

All this week I will be bringing these ladies from Beautiful you to Coffee & Cards sessions.  If you would like to play with the new pens you can!  Simply choose your favourite colour and off you go.

You can take the panel home with you and whats more you will have the opportunity to win your favourite combo pack too!

Take your coloured panel home and make a card with it.  Post a picture on my business facebook page and the project that receives the most likes will win the two pens they chose to colour their panel!

I will have another post later this week with details of a new Stampin' Blends club so pop back soon to make sure you don't miss anything.

Details of the products I used for this project can be found below.

Hope you can join me for some crafty fun soon.
