Stampin' Up! - Bubble Over for a special birthday!

Hello, I'm back today with another project made with my (current) favourite bundle - Bubble Over.

A special friend had a birthday on Monday and, as he is a bit of a beer monster this seemed the obvious bundle to use!

Once I had the initial idea this card came together really quickly - the hardest part was deciding which brown to use for the beer bottles!  I decided on Soft Suede.  If you were making a card for someone who preferred lager, the bottles would look great cut from green card stock too.

I used a sponge dauber to add some Soft Suede ink the edges of of the bottles - this is a great way to add depth and dimension.

I had initially planned on using a plain piece of Wood Textures DSP as my background but changed my mind at the last minute and ran it through the Pinewood Planks TIEF.  Hopefully you can just about see it in the photo.

My most favourite thing about this particular bundle are the tiny dies that create the bottle tops.  There are four in the set, two for each size of bottle which is brilliant when you need multiples in a hurry or you are prepping for a class!

I created labels for each bottle and again, added some ink to the edges to blend things together.  I had lots of fun deciding which labels to use for my bottles - there are several to choose from in this set.

I used the fabulous cluster of bubbles stamp to decorate the inside of the card too.

I used one of the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies to create my sentiment.  I cut the word 'celebrate' three times and glued them all together to create a more solid word.

Thanks for looking at my blog today, come back soon to see a multi coloured project made with this bundle.  Here is a sneaky peak - goodness know what I was thinking when I choose the colours but the bottles look very different to the brown ones!
