Stampin' Up! Petal Palette - Quick & Simple

Hello, here are the details for the first project this week using Petal Palette.

I chose a fresh and simple colour combination of Lemon Lime Twist and Rich Razzleberry this week.

We started by deciding which of the two embossing folders to use for our embossed panels.   At the moment there is no clear favourite ...

We used the Petals and More Thinlits dies to cut out the white leafy sprig.  Several of my crafty ladies snipped stems off and rearranged them which looked lovely.

After cutting a Stitched Shape Framelits circle, we stamped one of the images with Black Memento ink and coloured using the Stampin' Blends.  The Stampin' Blends make it so easy to add colour to stamped images - they almost like they have been printed!

Here is the completed card and envelope.  I added a sentiment across the bottom - there are some really useful sentiments in the Petal Palette stamp set.

I have one further Coffee & Cards sessions available this week if you would like to join me to make this project (and another one), you can find all the details here,

Now that my daughter has be released from hospital and is back home, things will hopefully get back to normal.  She is not enjoying being ill and the crutches are already starting to annoy her!  I am wondering how long it will be before she gets bored ...
