Stampin' Up! Cake Soiree - quick & simple

Hello, here are the details for the first C & C project this week using Cake Soiree.

This is the first time I have inked up this gorgeous cake image!  I used a Blender Pen to pick up some ink from the lid of an Old Olive ink pad to add some colour to the leaves.

These useful pens combine the flexibility of watercolours with the convenience of markers.  The dual tipped pens are filled with a specialist solution that allows you to blend ink easily.  The tip cleans off with just a stroke or two so you don't need a different pen for each colour.

The delicate details in the die that creates the cake stand are so pretty.  The cake stand base is ahered with Tombow and I used Dimensionals on the rest of the cake.

I created a small floral arrangement on one side of the card and added some jewels for a bit of sparkle.

The inside of the card and the envelope have been stamped to coordinate too.
