Stampin' Up! Daisy Delight - for Mum!

Hello, I was joined last week by two lovely ladies for a private workshop where I was asked to come up with something special for Mother's Day.

It seemed to me that Daisy Delight would be perfect for this special occasion and I had an idea in mind.  I was also asked to use blues and greens.

These are the colours I went with - an easy choice as they are some of my favourites!

This is what we made - an easel card with a decorated envelope - so pretty!

The decorated flap on the easel section is perfect for a message!

After stamping and punching lots of daisies in different colour combinations they were  curled and shaped to give dimension and then assembled.  The centre of each daisy was raised up on a Mini' Stampin' Dimensional.  We then spent some time arranging (and rearranging) the daisies before adhering to a wicker heart wreath.

These fabulous flowers come together very quickly and don't they look stunning?

I found some wooden ladybirds in my crafty stash and they provided the perfect finishing touch.  The leaves on the heart in the centre of the wreath are made with Painted Harvest and the coordinating Leaf Punch.

I was very envious of the finished results - I only had two wreaths so was unable to make one myself.

Both Sarah and Faith were very pleased with their creations - I had to promise not to share photos on my blog  or facebook page until after Mother's Day.  I am sure that both Mums were thrilled to receive these lovely items.

If you would like to make something (cards or 3d items) for a special occasion or event (or even just for fun), I am always happy to arrange special sessions.  Just send me a message and I will see what I can do!

When I get chance, I will make one of these for me too!

Details of the products I used for this project can be found below.  Thanks for visiting my Blog, come back soon so you don't miss anything.

Happy Crafting!

Susan xx
